Archaeology and Travel

Dan has sketched in exotic places and this enhanced his love of the humanistic spirit across time and space. He visited ancient Nubian sites in the Sudan in 2017 resulting in a solo show at the National Museum of Afro-American Art. He has also sketched along the Silk Road in Central Asia, in the Yukon and in Cuba. These works were also part of solo shows in the Yukon and in Gloucester MA.
